Show Henefer Items Henefer DUP Haars Lesson meeting of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers was held on Mirch 16 at 1:30 p.m. The 1 . y elcome was given by Captain .rene Rowser; prayer by 2nd vice president, Reta Ovard; songs were 'Remember the Green Valley and 'Pulling Hard Against the Stream. Chorister was Elienne Richins, organist was Darlene Richins; secretary, Veda Brooks read the minutes. Mrs. Alta Creager was welcomed as a new member. Her membership makes the total 44. Reta Ovard read ent Bulletin Number 2. The Pioneer history titled 'Thomas Britton was given by Selma Taylor. The lesson 'Mormon Scouts, was given by Melva Richins. Mrs. Rhea Bagnell, the Coun- Two dinners were held recently at the home of Gordon and Fawn Stephens. The occasions were the birthdays of two of their sons. Dallen celebrated his birthday on 6 March and Lance was three on March 9. Grandparents, Joe and Reta Ovard joined with the family. Another son Kenneth celebrated his eighth birthday with first a party last week. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Brown of Rock Springs visited Saturday and Sunday at the home of their daughter Jay and Dorothy Ovard and children. Kelly hurt his arm recently but is much better now. Mr. James (Pa) Taylor recently underwent surgery in the McKay Hospital in Ogden. His ty Officer attended the fine meeting. Birthday Parties for Henefer Kids A birthday party was held on for Julie Richins, March of Mr. and Mrs. Scott daughter Ovard, Marla Richins, Shawna Ovard, Brian Stephens, Stuart Ovard, Chris Ovard, Kris Dear-de- n, Penny Lynn, Susan Jones, Rhea Roberts, Ricky Mair and sister Lori. Kenneth Stephens, son of Gordon and Fawn Stephens celebrated his 8th birthday with a party. Fun games were played and later a weiner roast was held. Joining in the fun were: Chris Paskett, Kurt Richins, Todd Ovard, Ronald Richins, Dallas Richins, Ryan Richins, Troy Bowen, Brett Judd, Lane Winters, Tonya Bowen, Tamera and Lance Stephens. Chris Paskett, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Paskett was the honored guest at a party recently.
