Show Wanship News Kamas Items Mr. E. Roland Sahleen drove to Salt Lake Sunday afternoon to sing with the Scandia Male Chorus, at the Wells LJ)JS. Chapel. After a three years absence of practicing once a week and singing out once or twice a month he really found out how much he missed the chorus. He has been a member for over 30 years. The Scandia Male Chorus is a member of the Western Division ofSwedish Singers and a member of the Isabelle Anderson spent several days in the Coalville hospital. She is at the home of her daughter, Margaret Mitchell and feeling much better. . Neil and Tanya Andrew and daughter Lezlie were here from Michigan for a few days visiting her parents, Stiff and Alta Hoyt. Alta is still in the LDS Hospital after having surgery. Roland has also missed the yearly concert pre- Mr, and Mrs. Dean Black, Kamas, would like to announce the marriage of their daughter Linda Lou Black, to Scott J. Russell, son of Mr. and Mrs. Dale Peterson. An open house was held Monday, March 20 at the Dean Black residence. They were married in the Salt Lake Temple, Thurs- sented the first week in May every year. Mr. Hulbert directs the chorus and can really bring music from the members. The chorus gets so much happiness and joy from presenting the LDS Sacrament programs in song and the spoken word. The chorus is so glad to have Roland back with them and he enjoys singing with them. The couple will move to Oakland, California whereScott will be stationed as a Recruiting Officer in the Army. Dessie Butler Services Here A Dessie A. DeGraw Butler, 85, Kamas, died March 26 in a LeGrande, Ore., rest home. She was born March 25,1887, Glendale, Kane County, to Jacob and Arilla Brimhall DeGraw. Married Jay J. Alma Butler Oct. 4, 1922, Salt Lake LDS Temple; ta died Sept. 27. 1944. Survivors: son, daughter, Roland D., Salt Lake City; Mrs. . Alvin (Edna) Mitchell, Kamas; stepchildren, W. The Merry Mrs. Club met this week at the home of Reva Thelma Brown of Hoytsville, Mrs. Clyde Kiddman of Brigham City and Labell Bond of Ogden met to celebrate Elsies birthday. They had a very pleasant time talking and enjoying each other at the Bond home. Last Wednesday Fawn Smith, Verda Shaw, Jennie France, Shirley. Edna Taylor and Afton Walker have gone to St. George to spend the week. On Thursday, a birthday luncheon was held at the Chanas for Terry Davis.
