Show t 4 All Around th Kamas Valley Mrs. Isaac Smith broke her hip Saturday while opening her garage door. She was taken by ambulance to the hospital. Fete, Helen and Jan Bezzant have returned from a most delightful trip through Rocky Mountain National Park and on to Hastings, Nebraska where they visited with Helen's mother, Alma Harriett Crow', They went to the Black Hills of South Dakota where they marveled at the serenity of Mt. Rushmore and down the rugged Cowboy state and home. The John Lambert family had a real super get together over the weekend. The brothers and sisters hadn't seen each other for such a long time. They reminisced and explored the contents of mother's old Mystery Chest. A real tasty smorgasbord was served to Milo of Silver City, New Mexico; Mr. and Mrs. John Owens and family, Park City; Mr. and Mrs. Brent (Martha) Nyborg and family, Pocatello, Idaho; Mr. and Mrs. Ruben and family, Salt Lake City, and the guest of honor George Lambert who will leave for Vietnam shortly. Mr. and Mrs. Merl Louder and family of Salt Lake City were Sunday visitors at the home of Jim and Ruby Louder. The Youth Conference held in Logan last week was very well attended with a good representation from South Summit. Those attending report the workshops very outstanding this year. Every one felt truly rewarded for attending. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Sweeney are here for a few days. They are, visiting and putting things in shape around the place. Mr. and Mrs. Walter G. Thomas dropped in to visit Marion Primary Is Reorganized Marion Ward Primary was reorganized with Lucille Simpson, president, Joyce Mitchell and Joyce Rockhill Councelors. Lucille Hoyt will serve as secretary. A vote of thanks was given the retiring officers fora Job well done. The YWMIA was also reorganized with Vickie Flinders president, Joan Rock-hi- ll Councelor and secretary Linda Black. The retiring officers have served many years and have done a fine Job. The YMMIA have some new officers also, Jared Weller has been retained as Superintendent with Jerry Lewis first councelor and Blaine Cossey 2nd councelor, Kim Peterson will act as sec- f in SL ECH- OJames Arthur Riley, 75, died Aug. 21 in a Salt Lake hospital. Born Sept. 1, 1892, Echo, to Charles Edward and Emma Cot-tr- el Riley. Married Miralda Stratton Aug. 5, 1926, South Cottonwood, Grand County; she died June 24, 1966. Mr. Riley was a member of the LDS Church. Retired cement finisher, Veteran WWl Survivors: daughters, Mrs. Wayne (Gladys) Fox, Orem; Mrs. Wendell (Caroline) Cliff. Mrs. Charles David (Patricia) Martin, both Salt Lake City, six grandchildren, two greatgrandchildren, Sister, Mrs. Matilda Danks, Inglewood, Calif. Funeral services were held Saturday. ShaVon Smith has Just returned from the Alumni camp held at Aspen Grove. This camp is under the direction of doctors and nurses interested in diabetes. The children here are educated in the care and use of the available medications and patient care. The recreation is all planned with the Diabetic in mind. This Is a three state camp. LaRue Smith accompanied her husband on a hauling trip one day last week. Their destination was Delta, Colorado. LaRue said it was a fun day even Lyle enjoyed the company. Roma and Roger Smith are enrolled in Steven Henegar's Business College where he will study and learn the computer system, and she will take business training.
