Austin was welcomed borne by Mrs. Doris Atkinson and daughter Kathy, Dallas and Floydene Atkinson and Rosemary and Warren Atkinson. Austin is out of foe service now and has started working for Kay Bothers Truck Lines. Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Atkinson received word from their son DeMont that he is on a hospital ship, the S. S. Sanctuary and is waiting for his wounds to heal before coming home. They still do not know when he will be able to travel the distance home. Bill and LaMarva Mitchell left for home last Thursday after a very nice visit. They had dances in their honor, suppers at the home of relatives, went swimming and hauled a little hay but all in all had a very good vacation. Tractor Blows Up for Lyle Peterson MARION Bishop Lyle Peterson and brother Dale had some real bad luck Monday. Jeff one of 'Lyle's boys was driving the tractor and raking straw, when he came upon a blgplle, and when he went to move some of it from under the tractor it started to smoke. Jeff moved back and about that time flames started to fly and the tractor blew up. The tractor waa a complete loss, but no-owas injured.
