After the- regular business session was taken care of, 500 and Bingo were enjoyed. - Columbia Rebekah Columbia . Rebekah Lodge No. 2, met in regular session Thursday of last week. Noble Grand Alliene Farren was in charge of the meeting. A regular business session was disposed of and a social hour was enjoyed with Bingo furnishing the evening's diversion. Prizes were won by Vola Nevers and Chris Wheelwright. Refreshments were served by. the committee for the meeting, and Joan Mrs. Wheelwright Standly. Page Mrs. Robin McCabe, Mrs. Grace Bernini and the Bernini house guest Mrs. Dora Torlssi, made a trip to Salt Lake City Wednesday where they combined business and pleasure. Miss Janice Jewkes of Idaho, was a guest over the weekend at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ned Alllnson. She came to Eureka to attend the Senior Hop Friday night The 500 prize was won by Ada Schmidt, the Bingo, Vola Nevers and the cut, Joan Dale. Mrs. Schmidt was the hostess for the evening and served tasty refreshments. Os-bur- n, wscs Womens Society of Christian Service met Monday evening at the home of Mrs. Patricia Brady, with President Mabel Butler presiding. Mrs. Virginia Randle opened with a meditation prayer. After the regular meeting was completed, final plans were made for the annual smorgasbord din- -' ner to be held Sunday, ber 15, in the Memorial Building. Serving will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Mrs. Butler then turned the meeting over to Rev. Sammons, who gave a splendid talk on Communications and the Word. An interesting discussion followed. Tasty refreshments were served to those named and to Mrs. Carlene Eastwood, Mrs. Donna Giles, Mrs. Frances Ewell, Mrs. Dora Randle, Mrs. Mary Newman and Mrs. Edna Jasper and Mrs. Vola Nevers. Preceding the WSCS meeting a monthly board meeting was ' held with V. L. Anderson, conducting.
