Show THE EUREKA (UTAH) REPORTER August. 14, 1970 Page Three New Mr. and Mrs. Kent Cushing honored at reception Thursday Mr. and Mrs. Kent Cushing were honored at a reception last Thursday evening at the LDS Cultural Hall. It was sponsored by the Bishopric of the Eureka Ward and the Relief Society. The Hall was beautifully decorated in shades of pink, and Eurekans at Bryce Canyon outing A Senior Citizens Camp was held at Bryce Canyon on the 4th, 5th and 6th of August A program was held, a talent night nature walks, dancing with live music, and a most enjoyable three days, giving entertainment and a made for a splendid outing. Those attending from Eureka were Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Erickson, Mrs. Gertrude Hannifin, Lucile Riley. Attending from get-togeth-er Nephi were Mr. and Mrs. Ber-neLunt, Mr. and Mrs. Des-paiand Lavera Meechaxn. ll n, a beautiful wedding cake, made by Lucille Knotts, centered a small table covered with a pink lace cloth. There were about one hund- red people who came during the evening to congratulate the young people and to extend best wishes to them. Assisting in the serving were Shirlene Christensen, Jackie Morris, Lana Rae Laird, Deobie Ewell, Launa Allinson, Mickey Morris and Debbie Laird. Mrs. Margaret Hopkin and her daughter, Mrs. Teresa Ann Jennings and her three children of Boise, spent Sunday and Monday here with Mrs. Hop-kin- s sister, Mrs. Clare Larsen. The newlyweds were the recipients of many lovely and useful gifts. guests here for the open house were Mr. and Mrs. Paul Cushing, Tooele; the brides grandmother, Mrs. Mary Neff, her mother, Mrs. L. A. Giles, and an uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Neldon Neff of Riverton. Mr. and Mrs. Terry Kay and three boys spent Friday and Saturday here with Mrs. Kays parents, Mr. and Mrs. Martin Fennell, Sr. Mr. and Mrs. Kay and two boys, Danny and David left Saturday on a vacation to Ctolorado, but the baby, Brent, is staying with grandparents while the parents are away. Jay Chatterton is in the Hospital, where he is Mr. and Mrs. Don Giles, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Lucas and Mr. and Mrs. William Eastwood, enjoyed a steak fry on Sunday afternoon in Knightville.
