Show Eureka, Utah 84628 Vol 67 Auto accident Girl Scouts, leaders return from claims life annual Scout Day Camp trip of Various troops of tired Girl Scouts and very very tired Girl Scout leaderes, returned to Eureka,- Santaquin and Payson on Friday of last week after completing their annual week at the Scout Day Camp. This is ex-reside- nt Charlene Bird Julander,. 31, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lee Bird, died August 5, 1970 in a Richfield Hospital of injuries suffered in an automobile accident near Sevier. She was bom Sept. 30, 1938 in Provo to Lee A. and Elna Crane Bird. She received her education in .. crafts geared' to the girls skill and age, water fun, archery games, and all around sportsmanship and meetings and ' ac quiring new friends. Each day ' was closed with the retiring of the flag and taps. The entire camp spent Thursday evening cooking, making homemade ice cream, winding the Maypole and roasting marshmallows until all collapsed into bed to spend the night sleeping under the stars. The theme of the outing was the first .year that the southwest end of Provo neighborhood held their separate Day Camp at Teeny Flats in Santaquin Canyon. For the majority of the Scouts it was a big success due to the various activities and the comparable short ride back and forth every day. the Eureka schools, graduating from Tintic High School and attending LDS Business College in Salt Lake City. She married Donald Boyd Julander in Eureka on August 10, 1957; solemnized later in the Manti LDS Temple. Survivors include her husband, 3 sons and one daughter, Jeffery Don, John Boyd, Bruce Lee, and Lorraine Ann, all of Marys vale; parents, Eureka; one brother, Ranald Jess, Bellflower, Calif; two sisters, Mrs. Norman (Nancy) Milne.
