Show October 31, 1969 Page Five THE EUREKA (UTAH) REPORTER Religious education workshop is held On Saturday, October 25, a Religious Education Workshop for the Diocese of Salt Lake City, was held at Judge Memorial High School. The purpose of the workshop was to present new directions in cateche-tic- s to all teachers of religion in the diocese. Attending from St Patrick's Parish were Reverend Patrick Mclnally, pastor, and CCD teachers Mrs. Frank McCabe, Mrs. Emma Lewis and Mrs. Joseph Bernini. They report a very interesting and informative session. At the conclusion of the meetings, a Concelebrated Mass was held in the auditorium with Bishop Joseph L. Federal as the Principal Concelebrant. Heart Club, and her enthus- Earlene Gear hosts party Mrs. Earlene Gear entertained at a dinner party at her home on Friday evening of last week. Her guests were Mr. and MTs. Ralph McCormick, and small daughter, Kathleen of Los Angeles; Mr. and Mrs. Carlos Rife and sons, Richard and Roger; Mrs. Euella Gear of Springville and Mrs. Elsie Nilsoh. MIA enjoys Halloween party The MIA of the Eureka LDS Ward celebrated at a Halloween party, on Tuesday evening of this week. The various classes met separately and enjoyed games for a while, then all gathered together where dancing provided the entertainment AH name in costume which added much to the fun of the evening. At the end of the evening refreshments were served by the officers. Thomas family honors mother Members of Mrs. Mary Thomas' family surprised her on her birthday Sunday, when they called to extend greetings. Those coming to Eureka were Mr. and Mrs. R. E. Finch of Payson; Mrs. Golden White, Goshen; Mr. and Mrs. Bert Thomas and son, Dusty, Spanish Fork; Ricky Thomas of Salt Lake and young Bert Vernon. Mrs. Finch brought a beautiful cake, and MTs. Thomas received some lovely and use- ful gifts.
