Show Give them Candle lighting services and Sunday School program will be held Friday evening, Christmas Eve, December 24, in the Methodist Church. The Sunday School program will be presented at 7:30 p.m. and the candle lighting services will be at 10 p.m. with Rev. Nicholson in charge. A cordial invitation is extended to all those interested. St. Patricks Church Services Christmas Eve consist of Midnight Mass Friday, December 24 beginning at midnight. Father Strancar will be the celebrant and the church choir will sing the mass with Gertrude Church as the organist and director. The public is invited to attend. A gala event is being planned at the Stake Center for New Years Eve. All adults over 14 years are invited and wonderful entertainment is being planned. It will begin at 9 and last until 1:30 a.m. Dancing will be to live orchestra the Candels from Provo. Throughout the evening beginning at 9:30 a turkey dinner will be served at large round tables which will be placed cafeteria style around the floor. Festive New Years trimmings will center each table. The full ceiling of the cultural hall will be laden with colorful balloons which will be lowered onto the dancers at 12 o'clock. There will be horns, hats, confetti and all that goes toward making it the most gala New Years Dance ever. The stake Relief Society leadership meeting held last Thursday morning at the stake center proved to be a true holiday spirit making. Honor was given to Mrs. Ella Sandstrom, Eureka, stake magazine representative, and to all ward magazine representatives for jobs well done. Beautiful Christmas music numbers provided by each ward, were sung and Eureka Ward members sang aCome, All Tintic-Santaqu- in a stud- ent at Gonzaga University in Wash.; Miss Ann Spokane, Quigley, a student at St. Marys of the Wasatch in Salt Lake City, and Sam Quigley, who is attending the U. of U. in Salt Lake City, are spending the holidays here with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. James Quigley. Fitch, who is teaching in Seattle, Washington; Cecil Fitch IH, who is attending college in California; Edward, a student at St. Joseph's College in Mountain View, Calif.; John, a student at the U. of U., and Miss Jane Fitch, who is attending St. Mary's of the Wasatch in Salt Lake City, are home for the holidays visiting with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Fitch, Jr. Miss Noel Visitors during the week at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ed Thomas were Mrs. Charlotte White, Mr. and Mrs. George Kirk, Mr. and Mrs. George Steele of Goshen, Mr. and Mrs. R. E. Finch of Payson, and Mr. and Mrs. Howard Jensen, of Tooele. Larry Sanderson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Oris Sanderson, is leave here spending a with his parents and other relatives. He is stationed with the U. S. Navy at Moffit Field in California. He will report back to his base on January 7.
