Christmas night left for Galva, he was where Iowa, Saturday called by the death of his mother, Mrs. John A. Anderson, 90, who passed away Saturday morning at the home of a daughter in Storm Lake, Iowa. Mr. Andersons son, Jim, flew to Galva, to attend the funeral services which were held Tuesday. V. L. Anderson The Elks Charity Ball will be held Christmas night, December 25, at the Tintic High School Auditorium. The public is invited to attend. The annual event is held to help raise funds for the needy at Christmas time and is one of the outstanding social events of the holiday season here. Dancing will begin at 10 p.m. Breaks hip George Chiulus, senior citizen of Eureka, wishes his friends to know that he has been trans- ferred to the Willard Convalescent Home in Provo. He has recently been released from the Payson Hospital where he was confined for several days being treated for pneumonia.
