A business meeting was held, with President Rowena Hanks presiding. A hot dinner was served to members, Mabel Butler, Lavon Ryan, Annie Smith, Elsie Nilson, Myrtle Theriault, Virginia Randle, Alliene Farren, Frances Ewell, Pansy Treloar, Vola Nevers and special guests, Rev. Eldon Nicholson and his son. This was the last meeting for the summer months, and meetings will resume in Sep- w, Nont dry milk stars in this recipe from the Borden Kitchen. Peach ChilTon Pie (Makes one pie) Combine cups crushed graham cracker crumbs (18 to 20 crackers) with 3 tablespoons sugar. Blend in 13 cup softened butter with pastry blender or fork. Press firmly and evenly on bottom and sides of pie plate. Chill well before filling. Filling 1 envelope (1 tablespoon) 14 cup sifted confectioners unfiavored gelatine sugar 2 tablespoons bottled 14 cup cold water lemon juice 84 cup sugar 1 teaspoon almond- extract 13 cup cold water 12 cup hot water 13 cup Starlac Nonfat 3 large peaches, peeled Dry Milk and sliced Add gelatine to 14 cup cold water. Let stand 5 minutes to soften. In small mixing bowl, combine softened gelatine, 34 cup sugar, almond extract and hot water. Stir until dissolved. Set bowl with mixture in another bowl filled with ice cubes. Chill mixture until consistency of unbeaten egg white, stirring frequently. Combine sliced peaches, confectioners sugar and only 1 tablespoon lemon Juice. Toss lightly to coat peaches. In bowl, combine 13 cold 1 lemon water, remaining tablespoon cup juice and nonfat 8 10 milk. to Beat dry minutes, or until stiff. Beat chilled gelatine mixture until light and foamy. Fold in whipped nonfat dry milk and sugared peaches. Refrigerate until mixture mounds when dropped from a spoon. Turn into chilled crumb crust. Refrigerate to 2 hours, or until firm. The celebration started early when her daughter and Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Beck came in from Dugway on Sunday to extend birthday wishes, and they presented her with a beautiful cake and some lovely gifts. Another visitor was a friend, Mrs. Rachel Beck, of Springville, who spent the day with Mrs'. Beck. On Wednesday, many friends called during the day and among them were Mrs. Norma Jameson, Mrs. Grace Chatwin, Mrs. Ella Sandstrom and her daughter, Mrs. Colleen Milliman. She was a dinner guest of her son and daughter-in-laMr. and Mrs. Ed Webb, and in the evening Mrs. Alliene Farren. Mrs. Frances Ewell and Mrs. Elva Webb, surprised her and brought her a lovely birthday cake, and a delicious lunch, and spent the evening with her. It was a very happy day for her. The Reporter joins with her many friends in extending birthday congratulations, and best wishes on her big day. Ella Rose, spent last Thursday here with her aunt, Mrs. William Wirthlin and Mayme and the Gerald Sanderson family. She taught last year in Boise, and has been spending the summer months at St. Marys of the Wasatch in iSalt Lake. She is the former Ella Wirthlin. Sr. Chiffon Pencil Pie No-Bak- e 81st birthday The bill called the age Three vacation. Their first stop was at Long Beach, where they spent time with her mother, Mrs. Annie White-heaa well remembered former resident of Eureka. They drove to Corpus Christi in Texas, where they were house guests of their son and his family, Commander Rob e r t Radtke. a member of the U.S. Navy. Mr. Stewart and Mr. Radtke enjoyed fishing and hunting in the area. They drove to San Antonio, where they were taken through the Alamo. The return trip was made by way of New Mexico and Colorado, and they stopped in LaSalle, for a visit with a granddaughter, Patty Lee Sanderson before returning to Eureka. three-wee- k d, Mrs. Mary Newman returned home last week after a pleasant vacation trip. The first ten days were spent in Los Altos, Calif., where she was a guest of her brother and in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Edward Holmes. The last week of her vacation was spent in Clearfield with her daughter Mr. and Mrs. and Mrs. Craw-fort- h Crawforth. John sister-- son-in-la- w, drove her mother to reka last Friday. Eu- Mr. and Mrs. Daryl Kay and two daughters of Salt Lake, spent the holiday weekend here with her mother, Mrs. Rhoda Bell and other relatives. Recent visitors and dinner guests of Mrs. William Wirthlin and Mamie were Mrs. Henrietta Douglas of Fayson, and Mrs. Juliett Isaac of Spanish Mr. and Mrs. Tom Kokal and baby son, of Salt Lake City, spent the holiday weekend here with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Ryan. Outing taken in honor of birthday Mr. and Mrs. Lee Bird and daughter Marene and Adele enjoyed an outing last Friday evening at Saratoga Resort. The outing was in celebration of Marenes 11th birthday anniversary. The young girls enjoyed the rides, and it was KOVO night, and the small orchestras of the area were having a contest, so it was a big day for Marene. Ne-bek- er, Girls attending camp in Ogden Janet and Pam Brady, daugh- ters of Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Brady, Launa Allinson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ned Allinson and Pam McIntyre, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Steele McIntyre of Mammoth are spending two weeks at Girl Scout Camp Red Cliffe in Ogden Canyon. Parents of the young girls drove them to the Canyon. Others making the trip were Mrs. Myrtle Theriault, Mrs. Della Allinson, and the Allisons three boys, Stormy, Ned and Bobby, and the John Lemmon family of Magna.
