The shower was held at the Erickson home in Mammoth. Games, including Bingo and Scramble, provided the evenings entertainment, and delicious refreshments were served to Mrs. Leah Aitken, Della Nebeker, Agnes Peterson, Myrtle Pett, Donna Paxman, Dora Mrs. Mr. and Mrs. Gerald N. Ait- ken announce the engagement and coming marriage of their daughter, Irene, to Therold Friends attend Ogden wedding Of interest to many Eurekans and former residents is the announcement of the marriage of Miss Madeline Tominaga, a i, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. and Gary Yamashita, son of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Yamashita. The ceremony was solemnized Sunday afternoon in Ogden in the Japanese Christian Church at 3 p.m. A reception followed the ceremony in the church social hall. The groom is a graduate of Tintic High School, and has been attending Weber College. The Yamashita family made their home here for many years prior to moving to Ogden. Eurekans and former Eure- Mas-atosh- George Brook, son Utah has 13,800 alcoholics of which 2,300 are women. An additional 6,000 to 7,000 persons are excessive users who are in danger of becoming recipient of many beautiful and useful gifts.
