We are happy to report that Burt Thomas, young son 'of the Bcrnell Thomas family, was sufficiently recovered to return to school Monday after an absence of five weeks following injuries suffered in an accident November 1. The Thomas family feel that a good part 'of Burts rapid recovery is due to the many kind helping hands which were extended the night of the accident, and the speed and efficiency of the ambulance service in Eureka. Mrs. Arnold Swenson and Mrs. Ruby Atherly were for the nicely arranged party. A turkey banquet, complete with all the trimmings, was served at 7 p.m. A beautifully decorated Christmas tree set the stage for a really enjoyable evening.
