YjewA Mrs. Ned Allinson entertained at a childrens party last week honoring her small son, Randy Lee, on the occasion of his third birthday. . Mr. and Mrs. Adrien Underwood ' and children spent the wreekend In St. George visiting with relatives. Games kept the little people busy during the afternoon and Mrs. Allinson served delicious party refreshments to Randy Lees guests. who were Myma, Joy, Brenda and Diane Garbett, Timmy Fields, Eileen and Sherrie Webb. Later in the evening a fam- - Mbw Marjorie Randle, a stu- - dent at Westminister College in Salt Lake, spent the weekend here with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Randle. Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Brady and daughters, Janet and Pam, were in Payson Saturday evening attending a birthday celebration for Lynn's grandmoth- 0 ily dinner was served with the grandmothers, Mrs. Rella Allinson and Mrs. Althea Cook and her son, Lowell, and Ran- dys dad, attending. brother and sisters er, Mrs. Margaret Cloward. The party was held at the American Legion Hall, with over 100 guests calling during the evening to extend congratulations and best wishes to Mrs. Cloward on her birthday anniversary. Strawberry Loaf 1 regular size package (3 13 cup granulated sugar 6 large marshmallows, finely ounces) mixed fruit flavor suggests for the young man about cut gelatin 1 cup boiling water 1 cup cold water 2 cups halved fresh California 1 cup whipping cream 10 additional large marshmallows GRADUATE strawberries (reserve 10 for garnish) Dissolve 'gelatin in boiling water. Add cold water. Chill until slightly thickened. Combine strawberries and sugar and let stand 10 minutes. Place slightly thickened gelatin in bowl of ice and water and whip with egg beater until fluffy and thick. Whip cream. Fold in strawberries, finely cut marshmallows, and whipped cream. Spoon into loaf pan. Chill until firm. Unmold. Decorate top with small circles of additional whipped cream ; tuck one half strawberry in each circle. For the flowers at the sides of tee mold, cut each of the whole marshmallows to resemble a tulip or. other flower, and place as pictured, with a mint leaf or two. Serve in slices. Makes 12 servings.
