There are a number of things that can be done with It. It can be put in the yard, if live in a cold snowy area, you and from it you can hahg wet, pieces of meat and dry bread for the birds. Or, you can cut off the long branches and plant them as windbreaks to protect outdoor plantings. Tepees can be built around exposed shrubs and tender plants. This will protect them from wind and. prevent! snow and ice from accumulating and bending the plants out of shape. . Whatever you do, dont bum it in the fireplace, no matter how small it may be. A dry tree will bum with almost the speed and fury of film or cellophane, and is dangerous. If you live in the country throw them in ditches in the fields. They make excellent shelter for wildlife, or there can be a community tree burn. . ing. p$rty.f . ; |
