Dancing during the first part of the evening provided the evenings diversion and a buffet supper was served at midnight. The guests ushered the old year out and the new year in with music and group singing. Ladies of Elks conduct meeting Ladies of Elks met in regular session Tuesday evening in the clubrooms with Vice President Grace Bernini in charge. At the close of the business meeting several games of cards were enjoyed and prize winners were Mrs. Heber Cushing, Airs. George Finch, and Mrs. Gerald Drussell. Mrs. Dee Clement, hostess for the evening, served tasty refreshments. Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Gilson of Kearns, Mr. and Mrs. Kay Sorensen, Mike Lucas and the Sorensens daughter, Paulette, were dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Sorensen on New Years Day. Mr. and Mrs. William Lucas and two sons, Paul and Phillip of Kearns spent New Years Day here with Mrs. Margaret Lucas. They brought a nice dinner, complete with all the trimmings. They also visited with other relatives during the day. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Lucas entertained at dinner Christmas Day for Mrs. Dewey Robison and son Jerry of Salt Lake, and Mr. and Mrs. Vaun-de- ll Christiansen and son, Jan also of Salt Lake, and Mrs. Margaret Lucas. Mr. and Mrs. William Laird of Payson spent Sunday evening visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Vern Nevers and Mrs. E. A. Stokes. Mrs. G. W. Crane of Salt Lake spent last Thursday and Friday visiting Mrs. Mary Driscoll and Bill. m Air. and Airs. Harold Spencer and family of Tucson, Arizona left Sunday, after spending the holidays here with Mrs. Spencers father, Cecil Fitch, Sr., and other relatives. Air. and Airs. Oscar Erickson and Richard and Mrs. James Toone of Alammoth drove to Timp Haven in Provo Canyon on Monday, where they met Mr. and Mrs. Jim Lunt and son Stephen of Lehl.
