New Mrs. Van Wagrner is the former Miss Patricia Ann of Air. and Airs. Rice, Wm. ,1. Rice of Osage City, Kansas. . The young people were married Saturday in Las Veras, in the Chapel Round the Corner. After a short honeymoon they will make a home in Los Angeles. The groom is emplojed in Palmdale, Calif. The fiurpri e visit was Church Services Held In Eureka Ward Sunday evening services at were conducted by James Lunt. The services were as follows: opening song; opening prayer, Alonzo Sandstrom; sacrament song, speakers, Joe Roybal, George Neldon Castleton, Marshall, and Glen Larsen; organ solo by Norma Jameson; closing song; closing prayer, Verda Marshal. Airs. Julander The Bridge Club members held their annual Christmas party last Monday nt the home of Mrs. Orris Sanderson. The members exchanged gifts, and a tasty lunch was served. The table decorations and favors were in the Christmas motif and a beautifully trimmed tree added to the festive spirit of the enjoyable party. Bridge was the game diver-si- n and prizes were won by Mrs. Elmo Boswell, high score; Mrs. Gerald Drussell, the allcut; and Mrs. Thomas Judge, raffle prize. Those attending were Mrs. Henry Wall, Mrs. Leland Sanderson. Mrs. Ned Allison. Mrs. Robert Fife, Mrs. Martin Fennell and those mentioned above Back home for the holidays were Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Bell and two children, .Tncque and Donald. The Bell family recently moved to Grants, New Mexico, where Mr. Bell is employed by the Centennial Development Company. They spent the time with her mother, Mrs. Ruby Bigler and other family members. They returned to Grants on Thursday. Tim Watt, son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Watt, who is attending the University of Wyoming is spending the Christmas vacation with his parents. Mrs. Alice Johnson Has Mr. and Sirs. Alex Blight were hosts at a dinner party on Christmas Eve. Their guests were Mrs. Laura Blight, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Blight and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Eden. Christmas Breakfast . Mrs. Alice Jameson entertained at a family breakfast Christmas morning for members of her family and their families. Mrs. Ed King of Spanish Fork was a guest during the holidays of her daughter and Air. and Airs. Ted son-in-la- w, Colovich. Christmas Day guests at the home of Mrs. Rhoda Bell were Air. and Mrs. Wm. J. A. Pilon was home from Moab and spent the holidays with his wife and family. He returned to Moab Thursday of a smile that wont come off, the reason - their first grandchild, was born to Mr. and Airs. Jimmy Lunt Tuesday morning at G a.m. in the Payson hospital .The welcome lif tie boy weighed 9 lbs. 3 ounces. New mother is the former Elaine Erickson. Other pleased grandparents are Air. and Airs. Earl Lunt of Alammoth. Glen Knotts, who is employed at Grants, New Alexico, spent the Christmas vacation here with relatives. Steele McIntyre and Jack Lucas left Friday for Grants, New Arexico, where they will do some special work for the Centennial Development Co., who has several contracts in that area. Tom Serscn, a former resident of Eureka, now residing in Fort Collins, Colo., was here on Friday of last week, and was a dinner guest of Air. and Airs. Vem Nevers. Other guests during the week were Air. and Airs. Joe Stokes and family, who came to Eureka last Alonday to help assist Mr. Stokes mother, Airs. E. A. Stokes celebrate her birthday anniversary. Ted Johnson. The new baby boy checked in at 7 lbs. 11 ozs., and will be welcomed by a brother and two sisters, who are anxtpusly awaiting his relurn home. Airs. Johnson is the former Jeanine Dean, a daughter of Air .and Airs. Harry Dean, who are helping to spread the good news.
