Show Kiwanis Honors Post Office Box Members in 85th Congress by Frank Gear, Postmaster Kiwanis Internation and Kiwanis Club of Washington, D. C., will honor the nearly 100 Kiwanlans serving in the 85th Congress at their Fifth Biennial Kiwanis Congressional Dinner. The dinner, which will be held in the Presidential Ballroom of the Hotel Statler in Washington, will take place Thursday evening, Feb. 21. The first such affair was held in 1942. Principal speaker at the colorful affair .will be Reed C. Culp, President of Kiwanis International. Culp, a Salt Lake City, Utah, businessman, was elected Kiwanis president in June of 1956. Also on the program will be The Honorable Wilber M. Brucker, Secretary of the Army. Secretary Brucker is a member of the Kiwanis Club of Detroit. Special musical features will be furnished by the United States Air Force Band. Current membership of Kiwanis International is 250,000.
