There were about 60 people in attendance. They all went to the ward after dessert and played games. Elder Stephen Uresk, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Uresk returned home Saturday after spending two years in Balinia serving a mission. His family and friends were real hajyy to see him again. The family went to Salt Lake to meet him. The Myton ward held their ward conference this past week. The stake presidency was in attendance Sunday. The speakers at Sacrament was Bishop Leon Ross and President Bellon of the Stake Presidency. Alden Kynaston is in Salt Lake in the hospital trying to recover from surgery. Mrs. Kynaston, David and Vicki Kynaston went out with him. He is slowly recovering. Many residents of the area are getting discouraged with the cold weather as many peoples water is frozen due to it. We sure hope it will clear up soon so we can enjoy the water supply. Mr. and Mrs. Olaus Johnson of Heber visited at the home of their daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Jim Bandmann and family for awhile Saturday. The reproduction rate is slower in cold weather. And the food supply is much shorter during this time. Disease of rats are more prevalent when food is in short supply. Predators take a higher toll of rats and mice during winter months when their food supply is limited. By taking advantage of these conditions, you can reduce rat and mice populations. with good Rat and sanitation are starting points.
