Show MELODIE REYNOLDS DARYL DANIELS UNITED IN MARRIAGE CEREMONY - Miu Melodic Linn Reynold! and Daryl Lynn Daniela were united in a double ring reremony December 29, at the home of Dr. and Mra. Dale Laraen. Tony Lyle Reynold! waa the ring bearer. The bride waa given in marriage by her father, Merlyn Reynolds. The wedding waa witneased by the family membera while Bishop Dennia Mower performed the ceremony. A reception was held following the ceremony at the third ward cultural hall. Misa Debbie Funk played the wedding march and also played the music during the reception. Melodie is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Merlyn Reynolds of Scottsdale, Aria. Daryl ia the sen of Mr. and Mra. John Daniela, Roosevelt. V c The bride wore a white brocade and satin gown trimmed with white fur at the neck and sleeves. Her veil waa of tiered netting also trimmed in white fur. A long train waa fastened at the waist. The groom was dressed in a red crushed velvet tuxedo with black slacks. The bridal bouquet consisted of a white orchid, red rosea and stephonotis with red velvet rope and pearl chain streamers. The maid of honor was Miss Kathy Harmston who was dressed in a long white, red dotted Swiss gown. The brides maids were Kris Osguthorpe, Sharon Sanders and Kandace Reynolds. All were dressed In long red with white dotted swiss gowns. Their flowers were in a nosegay with red roses and white glads. The flower girls were Honie Chree Reynolds and lleidi Funk. They wore long red and white gowns and carried baskets of red and white pom poms. Best man duties were performed by Avard Jenkins. Richard Daniels and Jeff Reynolds were the ushers. The mother of the bride was dressed in metallic silver gown. a long Arabian-styl- e The mother of the groom was dressed in a bonded net allice silver gown. They both wore corsages of red roses and white gla-diol- a. The fathers of the bride and groom were dressed in black tuxedos with white boutineers. The young couple stood before a white arch with silver garland wound through It and silver backdrops with eight lighted pedestals with poinsetta arrangements on top. The refreshment tables were decorated with glass swans and red and white pom poms in them. The five foot cake was white trimmed with red roses was served to the guests. Also hot nuts and white frape with red mint chips was served. Serving was done by Roni Young, Leann Young, Charlyn Van, Trudi Larsen and Julie Jenkins. Mrs. Charles Jenkins, Mrs. Cecil Jenkins and Mrs Howard Funk were in charge ot the gilts. A personal shower was given December 27 by Kathy Harmston at the Frontier Grill in honor of the bride. The couple will reside in Roosevelt where the groom and bride are presently employed. David Atwood of the Salt Lake Trade Tech School spent the weekend at home here with his parents. We have some newcomers to Bluebell, the following in the Bluebell trailer court, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Sickler and two children. Mr. and Mrs. Pat Reary and one child and Gene Montgomery. Then Mr. and Mrs. Nibley and child into the new apartment owned by Billie Powell. We welcome these people into our area. Mr. and Mrs. Lee Lisonbee are the grandparents of a new baby girl born to Michael and Mary Lisonbee of Heber January 17. The little miss will answer to the name of Terri Lynn, she weighed 6 lbs and 12V oz. and was 17 inches long. She has a sister at home. Other grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Bette-ridg- e of Parawon. Also recent newlyweds, Mr. and Mrs. Orvil Powell are living in the E. A. Christiansen home. Merrill Capwell and Peggy Bird left by plane for New York City to visit his mother who was ill They spent a few days there sightseeing also before returning home. Wane and Rosie Christiansen and four girls of Irwin, Ida., spent a few days here visiting with Rosie's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Bird. The schools were closed in Irwin due to the flu. Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Winkler returned home Thursday evening, following their stay in the mission home. They left Friday morning for their mission in Canada. Udell Winkler drove his parents to Canada. He took his daughter Amy with Mr. and Mrs. John Gilbert, Provo, spent the weekend in Roosevelt visiting with their children. Mr. and Mrs. Warren McKenna are the parents of a baby girl born Jan. 26 Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert McKenna are the grandparents. Mr. and Mrs. Jay Hansen, Salt Lake, spent Thursday and Friday visiting with Mrs. Bessie Wardle. Mr. and Mrs. Lamar Nielsen went to Salt Lake to meet Mrs. Clara Young who has been visiting in Orland, Calif, for a while. Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Wall went to Salt Lake Jan. 22 to meet their son Joe who just returned home. Among the local residents who attended the State Championship Snowmobile races in Salt Lake last weekend were Mr. and Mrs. Arvin Labrum, Mr. and Mrs. Dave Adamson, Dr. and Mrs. Dale Larsen, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Denver, Richard Wymer, Sylvan and Robin Reynolds, Mr. and Mrs. Chunky Murray and Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Murray. Mr. and Mrs. Donald Allen and Jolene spent a few days in Salt Lake where Jolene received medical attention. Mr. and Mrs. Clair Winterton returned home Sunday evening from Redbluff, Calif., where they had been on business. Christy Hadley who is attending beauty school in Provo, spent the weekend with her parents. Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Nelson, Mr. and Mrs. James Hall, Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Laburm and Mr. and Mrs. Clem Labrum spent the forepart of the week vacationing in Las Vegas. Garth Seegmiller, Provo spent Sunday in Ioka attending to business. Mayor and Mrs. Edward Yack went to Salt Lake Friday to attend the Governors Counsel on local affairs. Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Stenson, Olympia, Wash., spent the weekend at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Norman Holmes. Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Shakespeare, formerly Margaret Reidhead, Roosevelt had a baby girl, Jan. 17 in the South Davis Community hospital. She weighed 7 lbs, 5 ox and her name is Jessica. Grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Royald Alvey of Tropic, and Mr. and Mrs. Joe Reidhead of Bountiful and Roosevelt. This makes twenty grandchildren for the Reidheads and twelve for the Alveys. Mr. and Mrs. Roy Hall returned home Saturday evening from Salt Lake City where Mr. Hall spent ten days in the Veteran's Hospital where he recieved treatment for a ruptured esophagus. Kathy Roberts flew to Reno to stay with her sister and family, Mr. and Mrs. Dean Dustin while their baby is in the hospital. him. They would come by plane bark to Salt Lake Monday. Mrs. Shana Lee Loertsrher and son Curt of Orem, came to Bluebell Wednesday with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Winkler. Rush came after his family on Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. William 0. Larsen received word on January 25 of the birth of a new grandson, born to Roy and Twila Pearson in Salt Lake City. This makes two boys and two girls for the Pearson's. The little fellow weighed 9 lbs and 11 oz and was 23 inches long. This makes 14 grandchildren for the Larsen's. Mrs. Clara Pearson of Salt Lake is also a happy grandmother. A reception was held Dec. 22, in the Roosevelt Second ward cultural hall The setting for the tables were pink candles in the renter with wreaths of flowers for ming the centerpieces. The tables were roped off with pink beads and cranberry bows. Pillars were wrapped with Christmas garland entwined with lights. The brides gown had a fitted bodice, long sleeves, and a square neck trimmed with sequins. The skirt was full with tiered lace forming a train. The veil was bridal illusion held together at the crown with lace framing flower petals trimmed with pearls. The bouquet was cranberry roses with pink carnations and pink streamers. The maid of honor was Miss Tami Gilbert who wore a long dress of pink crepe with a cranberry bolero and pink streamers. The bridesmaids were Miss Tami Phillips, Lori Phillips and Miss Mary Ann Long. Miss Debbie Long and Miss Lannie Hall were the flower girls. The brides mother wore a gown of long pink crepe with flowers of cranberry carnations trimmed with silver. The bridegrooms mother wore a pink suit with the flowers of cranberry carnations trimmed in silver, complimenting the ensemble.
