Show Variety Arts Club fetes Altamont High seniors Neighborhood sewing Mrs. Carl Walker was the hostess to Neighborhood Sewing club Wednesday evening. Ten members were present. The time was spent sewing and visiting. A dessert luncheon was enjoyed. The Altamont Variety Arts Club Is hosting a senior reception to honor the 1972 graduates of Altamont high school, Saturday, May 20 at the Altamont ward Cultural Hall beginning at 8 p.m. All seniors and their parents and faculty of Altamont high school and elementary are Invited to attend. New members who have Joined the group Include Melonie Young, Dena Wilcken, Susan Nielson, Peggy Hicken, Meda Duncan, Leona Haglund and Beverly Evans. The Saddlettes have received an Invise tation to ride In the parade In Salt Lake City July 24 and to drill In the Days of 47 rodeo that afternoon. It was held at the Frontier Grill. A program was presented and mothers day gifts exchanged. There were 33 guests at the dinner. There were 23 guests present. A dessert luncheon was served. Games were played and prizes were won by Debbie Hoopes and Leslie Adams. Hamblin Jones wedding Newlyweds, Mr. and Mrs. Drew Jones were honored at an open house April 14 In Roosevelt at the Roosevelt 2nd ward cultural hall and April 15 In Blanding. They were married April 14 In the Mantl LDS Temple by Elder John D. Rogers. Parents of the young couple are Mr. and Mrs. James E. Hamblin, Roosevelt and Mr. and Mrs. Wendell P. Jones, Blanding. For her wedding and reception the bride wore a gown of white polyester crepe featuring a fitted bodice with princess seaming In front and accented with rows of lace roses. The lace was repeated on the high neckline and long sleeves and on the floorlength hemline. Her veil of Illusion was held by a floret of lace. She carried a bridal bouquet of white carnations and yellow roses. The bridal ensemble was made by the bride. Valerie Squire was maid of honor. She wore a blue floor-leng- th gown and a corsage of yellow roses. The mother of the bride wore a blue dress and the mother of the bridegroom wore a yellow dress. Both wore corsages of yellow roses and white carnations. The four tiered wedding cake was Iced In white with blue latlce accents and yellow roses draping the sides. It was topped with clusters of yellow roses and white bells. Mrs. Howard Betts presided at the guest book. They honeymooned In San Juan County and are making their home In Salt Lake City. A bouquet of roses were used for decoration. Mrs. Clair Ashton and Mrs. William H. Ruppel were guests and Mrs. William Llnck was honored as the birthday guest. A luncheon was served and bridge was played during the afternoon. Mrs. Itarold Deller and Mrs. Llnck won the prizes. Mr. and Mrs. Hardman are former residents of the Uintah Basin. Mr. Hardman was born In Pleasant Green, Utah In 1899, Mrs. Hardman was born in Heber City In 1904, they were married May 17, 1922 In Heber City. Later they were married In the Salt Lake Temple. They moved to Arcalda, In 1930 then moved to a farm in loka. In 1937 until 1953, then they moved to Salt Lake City. They have resided there since. Socialette Club elects new slate of officers A Hawaiian Luau was the theme of the Socialette club Installtlon banquet Frtday night at the Frontier Grill.
