Wilma Robb accompanied her daughter Sharon Blrdiell to Salt Lake Thursday till Saturday. They visited the Ronald Robbs while there. Haslem was honored on his 12th Eight birthday last Saturday evening. friends enjoyed the party with him. Mr. and Mrs. Keith Hooper and children from Vernal were here Sunday for the blessing of their granddaughter, Gay Lynn, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Keith Hooper Jr. They also traveled to Ephriam to see their daughter lone who has been hospitalized following an accident at Snow College. Toni swerved to miss being hit head on. Damage to her car was about $1600.00. The Winklers returned home by way of Salt Lake where they attended the funeral services of Mrs. Cora Wathen, a former Bluebell resident on Monday. Mrs. Wathen was 74 years old and she died November of a heart ailment at her home In Murray. She was born July .20, 1897 In Heber City to Joseph C. and Mary Elizabeth Giles McDonald. Married Henry Alexander Wathen, June 23, 1920 In the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She was a housewife. She was an active member of the church, a heart fund worker and also a member of the American Legion Auxiliary In Altonah. Survivors are her husband, a son Victor, Salt Lake; Mrs. Edgar (Wanda) Williams, Somona, Calif.; and Mrs. Robert (Karen) Ostler of Sandy. 12 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, half brothers and half sisters, Vernon McDonald, Hyrum McDonald of Salt Lake; Glen McDonald, U. S. Armed Forces; Mrs. Evan (Eugena) Carlin, Sprlngvllle; Mrs. Earl (Leah) Houtz, Midway, Wasatch Co.; Mrs . Melvin (Barbara) Moulton, Heber City. Funeral was In Murray.
