Terry Xobrum brought his mother, Virginia Labrum of Congo Park, Calif., to visit with Mrs. Rose Gardner. Terry went on to school at Ricks college in Idaho. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Jensen and family went to Salt Lake Saturday where they visited Mrs. Ted Jensen who Is In the hospital there. They also visited with Beth Brown. Roy Gardner went to Salt Lake on business during the week. Mrs. Beth Brown Is In the hospital In Salt Lake where she had eye surgery. Dennis Jensen, Salt Lake, spent the weekend with his parents , Mr. and Mrs. Ray Jensen. Melba Bastlan visited during the week In California with relatives. Mr. and Mrs. Larry Swain and family Saugus, Calif., have moved home and are going to take over his fathers store In Neola. Jessie Bastlan, Provo, visited one day during the week with Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Bastlan. Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Bastlan received word Monday morning that their son In law, Scott Edrlngton, was taken to the hospital In Vernal Sunday. Neola, Myton, Duchesne and Roosevelt junior high units are fairly new and very well equipped. The Installation of the new equipment brings Altamont, Roosevelt Elementary, Tablona and Union In line with the newer units. Installing the new equipment in the older units was quite an accomplishment. Tablona lunch room Is located In the basement of the school where 90 percent of the students participate in the lunch program. An outside wall was removed from the Union high school unit and the new re and freezer set in and the wall replaced. The convection oven is a new type oven with a fan built Into the back which distributes the heat evenly so that four or more racks of food can be baked at the same time. The School District Administration and Board of Education have been te the units and to cooperating to Insure the students of the county a nutritious meal during the school day. School lunch Is available to all students. Free and reduced priced lunches sre available for low Income families. These lunches are provided In such a way that no other student Is aware of the difference In price. Parents are Invited to visit the lunchroom, enjoy lunch with their students and view the new equipment. frigerator up-da- Myton Church News Regular services were held at the My- ton Community Presbyterian Church April 25, with Tom Gentry, loka as speaker. A special vocal solo was given by Miss Marsha Miller of Vernal. Following the services the fellowship hour wts enjoyed. Ladles Aid quilting Is continuing, with the women working each Monday at the church, with a potluck lunch as part of the days schedule. Any Interested ladles are invited to come and quilt. A Duchesne singing group met the of April 25 to prepare special music for the May 16 services. They will meet each Sunday evening In Duchesne homes to practice. Speaker for the first Sunday in May will come from a Salt lake Methodist Church.
