Besides livestock and crop exhibits, along with canning categories, which are often associated with rural communities, the fair will also offer exhibits in flowers art, clothing, handiwork, and a number of specialty fields. If you have items which could be entered in any of these categories, contact committee members for that exhibit for full details, and plan to Time! Next week marks the opening of the annual Duchesne County Fair, which is designed to offer to the residents of the county an opportunity to take pride in accomplishments and to display the fruits of their labors. Not all counties have an annual fair. Some have made efforts toward the sponsorship of a county fair, to no avail. We should take pride in the fact that Duchesne county is progressive enough to realize the importance of this type of an exhibit in preserving the heritage of our way of life, A county fair serves a purpose.
