Show - Colored Slide contest In order to build a library of pictures depleting the scenic the Roosevelt Chamber of Commerce is beauty of the area, ' announcing the sponsorship of a "Colored Slide", contest.' An Invitation Is extended to all residents of the Basin to enter colored slides of. their favorite attraction. The attraction should be accessible from the Basin, and only colored slides will be accepted; The slides will be cataloged and filed for judging. Frizes of $25, $10, and $5 will be awarded to the three top rated slides at the end of the contest, with judging to be done by professional photographers from outside the area. On enterting slides, exhibitors will be asked to give permission for copies to be made. From the entries, the Chamber plans to have duplicate slides made, to provide an array of slides of the area that can be used In tourist promotion work through slide lectures or travelouges. The original pictures will be returned to the owners following the contest. Deadline for entry In the contest will be August 1, with prizes to be awarded during the annual UBIC celebration.
