So far we have made fruit sauces and four different drinks using fruit juice and ice cream. We are learning about the four basic food groups and how to get them is .ur leader along with Connie J"sscn. We elected officers, Calvin Roberts, president, Pat Allred, secretary of cooking phase I and Brent Rolierts as reporter, and decided our club name. We made egg salad sandwiches alung with Milky Way Punch. The following week we had our second meeting at Connie Jessen's house also in Altonah. We said the H pledge and the pledge of alleglence and got right to work on our chocolate chip cookies and dreamy shake. all with many foods. She was elected by her chapter to be their FHA "girl of the Year in 1967. As state FHA treasurer this past year she has helped to plan organize and carry out the state leadership conference and convention. She was in charge of the regional convention held at Roosevelt last October, the purpose of which was to promote the state project, beautlflratlon. Miss Mitchell has been selected to run for the office of reporter of the national FHA at this convention. She will also be a member of the swap shop that wlU help to determine the new national program of work for 1967 through 1973.
