Special guests were Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Grant and Mr. and Mrs. Guy Taylor. High score winners were the Grants, and Mr. nnd Mrs. William E. Lewis were the other prize winners. Other couples enjoying the evening of sociability were Mr. and Mrs. J. Keith Rogers, Mr. and Mrs. Keith Farnsworth, Mr. and Mrs. Reynold B. Hansen, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Wllkerson and the host and hostess. Mrs. Sylvia Mecham returned to her home Friday after a two-we- ek trip to Douglas, Wyo., Topeka, Kan, Colorado Springs, Oolo, and Salt Lake City. She went to Woymlng to visit a daughter, Mrs. Jim (Chloe) Bratcher, and two children, but Mr. Bratcher was transferred on another Job assignment to Indiana. Mrs. Mecham went with the Bratcher family as for as Topeka, then returned by train to Colorado Springs, then by bus to Salt Lake City and Duchesne. She visited her daughters in Colorado and Utah, also. Mrs. Emitta Robbins, Mrs. Surah Cowan, Jack Fltzwater, Mr. and Mra Troy Bailey and Jim Cowan, all of Duchesne, attended funeral services Saturday for Okcy K. Davis, 80, a former Duchesne resident. The deceased was the husband of Olleva Fitzwatcr Davis. Mr. Davis died of natural causes May 18, in a Salt Lake rest home. He was born August 24, 1885, in Liberty, W. Va. He married Sarah Buckalew In 1909. She died 1919. Married Olleva Fltzwater February 12, 1921 In Salt Lake City. He was a retired cook, and a member of the LDS Church. Survivors are: widow, eon, Ivan H. Davis, Los Angeles; daughter, Mrs. Arthur (Uorene) Jarl, Oakland, Calif.; Mn. Harry (Edith) Sneed, Mrs. Richard (Della Mae) Hoark, Mrs Duane (Lucretla) Sandloff, all of SLC; 16 grandchildren; brother, Perry Davis,; sister, Mrs. Alma Min-te- r, both of Hollywood. Fla.
