A. JACOBY, Duchesne, and Marion A. Harrison, Neola, will attend the Ducheene graduation; Ray Oman and Supt. AlteThomas J. Abplan&lp, rnant; Board President Hollis O. Hullinger, Roosevelt, and Nathan D. Allen, Roosevelt, Tabkma graduation exercises, Tuesday. These three commencement exercises are scheduled at 8 p. m., May 24. Thursday evening at the home of Mrs. Edna Hartman, the monthly meeting of the Variety Arts club was held under the direction of Mrs. Naomi Fisher, president Mary Boender, county demonstration agent Mrs. Chlorua Scholei and Mrs. Zelma Lloyd of Roosevelt were there with films and tips of flower arranging and gardening. Also plana of the senior tea was discussed, with 13 members present Mrs. Florence Jeaeen, Jesse Reay and Becky Lee Jeesen, went to Salt Lake City Saturday to visit the Dee Roberts and Terry Brotherson families. They brought a friend, Marion Todacheene. The first grade at the Al- tamont elementary school, under the direction of their teacher, Mra Edith Burton, held a Mothers Day program Friday. The 36 students sang numerous songs. They have learned them throughout the year. Stories were told by the use of pupils and pictures of animals. Gay Lyn Estes and Beckey Lee -- lessen danced. The mothers their children for one dance and the students presented their mothers with a pro- file of themselves. Brent Brotherson was here for the weekend visiting his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Brotherson. Mr. and Mrs. Ferrell Molh-ma- n and family of Bountiful visited friends and relatives and attended Sunday School in Altamont Sunday. Clarence and Lola Jones went to Salt Lake City Sunday for a few days. They plan to do some visiting and had business to take care of. Martin Brotherson left on Tuesday for New York City to attend a telephone school. He will be there for six weeks. Miss Carolyn Sorensen of Provo spent the weekend with the Bernard Dastrups.
