A big game hunt puts the thrill into a sportsman. This is a good indication that there will be an increased supply of local ducks for next falls shooting. It is to be hoped that the government will start soon on the Bear River dike, which will create many square miles of breeding grounds for the ducks and will secure a supply which prove ample for the local hunters of our state. Provision is being made for an expenditure of $350,000 for this work and when completed will greatly help in providing more ducks for the surrounding states. MAY CUT LIMIT Sportmens associations all over the United States are working and agitating a cut on the limit of ducks which may be shot in one day by reducing the limit to fifteen birds. New shoes which fit correctly are comfortable from the start. They do not need the process known as being broken in. Linoleum, to give good service, should be laid over a smooth floor in such a way that it does not buckle, and it should be cleaned with a damp cloth wrung out of suds made with mild soap. Alkali washing powders, strong soap, or too much water, will ruin even the best linoleum. The boys will hold a big shoot at the Salt Lake Gun Club grounds at Becks this morning.
