Fred Crouch and Katarine Moore present a skit in Home Ties and they are a scream. The usual lazy husband and the hard working wife in a country home finally decide that they were never suited for each other and the woman is ready to play quits. LOCAL DRAMATIC CLUB PRESENT LIVELY PLAYS very successful entertainment was taged last Weednesday evening at Moose Club Hall by the members Dramatic of the Maska and Faces Club, under the direction of Mr. Lief McManus. Three one-aplays were given of widely diverging characteristics, which gave ample scope to the versatility of the players. The work presented by these young people gave evidence of careful training as well as long hours of study and application which must be the price of reaching such a degree of histrionic proficiency as they displayed. The first sketch, of a farcical nature, The Superior Sex, kept the audience in an uproar of laughter, and reached a happy climax. The seca realistic comedy, ond, Gossip, was so true to life that the witnesses hardly felt it to be a representation only, while the third was a story from criminal life that gripped the heart, .and held such a series of thrills that one forgotall but the tense situations portrayed. Very pleasing music during the s was furnished by the Saunders Orchestra, Miss Claire Moss, Mr. Alvin Wollschleger and Mr. Evan Timothy.
