Dorothy Carlson, a native high school student of this city, who won the United States oratorical champion ship, appears on the stage for the first time and she makes a big hit in a skit of her own, and the people give her . a big hand. Her stage pdesence is unquestionably good and she injects power and feeling into her offerings. Charles Willis, lyric tenor, is immensely popular and receives many encores. rHis pleasing voice is ideal for the type of songs he sings. Nathal, the monkey man, gives the audience a surprise, a thrill and more than one laugh. DOROTHY CARLSON APPEARS AT PANTAGES THEATRE Holiday visitors are being given a real treat at the Pantages theatre this week, where seven big vaudeville acts Mile. Mrs. Wiggs of the Cabbage Patch is based on Mrs. Rices two famous novels, Mrs. Wiggs of the Cabbage Patch and Lovey Mary, which have been read by millions.
