The lad drifted from bad to worse until there was nothing lower and poverty striken. A pretty girl meets him and through hard work and perseverence reforms him. For her farewell, Ralph Cloninger has arranged for a presentaton of Nightie Night, a screaming, pajama clad fa:ce, which starts tomorrow night. In the farce, Miss Berryman will appear in pajamas as Trixie, the dancer who causes all of the trouble during the action of this snappy vehicle. Nightie Night is in the class with The Whole and Just Married Towns Talking. It was written by Adelaide Mathews, one of the authors of Just Married, and by Martha Stanley, who also has several successes to her credit. The story of Nightie Night starts on a Pullman parlor car en route from Washington to New York. Billy Moffat meets Trixie, the dancer, and is seen by his sister. Later when Billys wife finds Trixies bracelet in Billys pocket after having heard about the meeting, complications ensue and are added to when Trixie is discovered in the house in her pajamas. Mr. Cloninger, Victor Jory and other members of the Cloninger company, will be seen in delightful roles in this hilariously funny play, which romps through a prologue and three acts of continuous merriment.
