Sil- r Senator Key Pittman in an exclusive statement to the Financial' Review denied press statements that all further sessions of the Senate Gold and Silver commission had been postponed until next fall. On the contrary he emphasized the fact that, sessions would be 'resumed on the completion of an aiidit of mint department records covering Pittman law silver purchases. The senate commission is also arranging a conference of silver pro- ducers of this country, Mexico, Canada and South America, to be held in Reno during, the early summer. Blair has inaugurated a new program in the issuance of the Internal Revenue Bulletin, which contains decisions and rulings oh various tax and prohibition questions. The Internal Revenue Bulletin now is issued weekly, presenting to taxpayers the latest rulings and opiri- -' ions of the attorney general, solicitor of internal revenue; and Treasury decisions, dealing with income, sales, capita stock, tobacco, oleomargarine and miscellaneous taxes. In addition, the bulletin contains a great fund of New life is seen on' the Stock Exchange. While trading has been brisk ever since the first of the year there was a lull for about two weeks, but now stocks are again picking up.
