EDWIN EVANS, former head of the department of the University of Utah, left Sunday for New York, where he will be joined by his daughter, Elva, who has been studying music in Boston. Professor Evans and his daughter intend to make a trip to Europe to visit the battlefields of France and Belgium. When they return Mrs. Evans will join them in New York. Since leaving Salt Lake professor Evans has been doing some interior decorating in the Mormon temple in Canada.
