Show THE CITIZEN 12 r Revue De La Ville HTHE marriage of Miss Mary Mar- i-shall, daughter of Judge and Mrs. John A. Marshall, to Walter Fitch took place at the Cathedral of the Madeleine at high noon on Wednesday. The ceremony was performed by Bishop Joseph S. Glass, assisted by Father Torsney, rector of the cathe- dral. A musical program was given by Amadee Tremblay of Ottawa, Canada, who played a number of his own compositions, including the Cortage Nup-tialPreceding the nuptial mass the were given: selections following Chant de la Fiancee, by Schumann, Ariels Bonnet, Wedding Song, Stebbins, and Ave Maria, Gounod. The ushers were Major Wood, Warner Morrison, Leland Kimball, Fred Johnson and Leonard Wilson. Mrs. Alva Lee, sister of the bride, was the matron of honor and wore a summery frock of rose pink and carried a bouquet of Wasatch roses. Miss Maud Fitch and Miss Margaret Walker, two of the bridesmaids, wore canary colored organdy, with picture hats trimmed in yellow. Miss Phoebe Dey and Miss Katherine Lewis followed and wore yellow organdy gowns of a deeper tone than those of the other bridesmaids and carried Ophelia roses. John Marshall Lee was the ring bearer, carrying the ring in a rose, and little Charlotte Johnson was the flower girl. The bride wore a handsome wedding gown of shimmering white satin and carried a bouquet of brides roses. A reception and wedding breakfast followed the ceremony at the home of the bride, 303 East South Temple street, for close friends. A curtain of smilax, studded with pink blossoms, formed a background for the wedding party in the drawing room. Vases of white roses were on either side. The other rooms. were decorated in pink roses and hawthorn. The breakfast table had a centerpiece of pink and white roses. Assisting the wedding party and Mr. and Mrs. Marshall in. receiving the guests were Mr. and Mrs. Walter Fitch, Sr., Mrs. James A. Hogle, Mrs. L. B. McComick, Mrs. J. E. Cosgriff, Mrs. Edward Zorlinsky and Mrs. 0. W. Powers. Assisting in the dining room were Mrs. Douglas Kimball, Mrs. Marion Foss and Mrs. Leonard Wilson. The couple left on a late afternoon train for the Canadian Rockies and Alaska for a honeymoon trip of two months. They will make their home in Eureka. e. . A breakfast followed at the home of the briedgroom's mother, Mrs. Anna J. Nicholls, 1203 McClelland avenue. Pink tulips and bridal-wreat- h formed a centerpiece for the table. Covers were laid for twelve. A reception was given in the even- - ing at the home of the bride, 128 North West Temple street. The bride wTore a gown of white organdy. Her veil was caught with The orange blossoms and pearls. bridal bouquet was of bride roses, with a shower of lilies of the valley. One of the bridesmaids, Miss Gladys Walker, wore gray georgette trimmed in coral and carried coral sweet peas. The other bridesmaid, Miss Lucile v Howe, wore pale green georgette crepe over pink trimmed in silver. She carried shasta daisies. Bernard Nicholls was best man. Assisting Mr. and Mrs. Walker and the bridal party in receiving the guests were Mrs. Anna J. Nicholls, Miss Mary Nicholls and Miss Irene Nicholls. Assisting in the dining room were Miss Cynthia Arnold, Miss Lydia Walker, Miss Merle McAvin and Miss Hattie Dailey. Punch was served by Miss Thelma Walker and Miss Crystal Williams.
