It is found that there is a much greater tendency for a goitrous ruudition to decrease among tho males than among the females if the Furmington results are to lie taken as an indication. In the schools there, including both public and high, some 42 jsr cent of I be hoys showed goitrous conditions. Among adult males such conditions were found among only 12.3 per cent.
