Hell, won the undisputed champion- -' ship of the Junior High School Ijoaguo of the Tlntlc District, when they defeated Mammoth last Wednesday by a score of 25 to 7. The local boya have won four and lout one game giving them a percentage of 80, while Silver City, their closest competitor has won three and lost two for a mark of 60 per cent. The game Wednesday was a fiercely fought contest, with Mammoth fighting hard every minute. The Mammoth aggregation took the Eureka team by surprise and airapty swept them off their feet scoring a touchdown In the first five minutes of play, but the Eureka boyl bold them from then on and settled down to playing consistent football. The one score was all that Mammoth could make during the game while the youngsters from Eureka rolled np a score of 25. The Mammoth boys played a good game but were handicapped because the Enreka youngstera were heavier. But, after all. It isnt the winning that Is the big thing, for It Is certain that all the boys who have participated In the contests have derived a great benefit therefrom. If for no other reason than for the requirements they have to meet In order to play. The Eureka boya are playing the Payson Junior High football team at Payeon boys. The fanner boys are much larger than the Eureka players but Eureka will make a good showing against this aggregation. Next Wednesday, Nov. 28, Payson will play at Eureka. A large crowd Is expected to attend as this will be a real contest and well worth watching.
