Thursday night, the store of 11. C. Hansen and Company, dealers in sporting gooffs, etc., was entered Friday evening by means of a skeleton key and about $200 worth of goods taken. When Mr. Hansen went down to his lilsce of business this morning everything appeared to be in its regular der. until he glanced at the show case and then he saw that an assortment of valuable revolvers, Colts, Iver John-so- n and other kinds, was gone. He took an Inventory of goods that had been taken and found that seven revolvers, two dozen razors and nine dozen valuable peerl handled pocket knives Following . ' were gone. Nothing was out of order and, judging from the condition of things, the burglars must have entered and gone about their work quietly without fear of interruption. An entrance was very likely effected by means of a skeleton key. as the door showed no signs of force having been used to open it. The thieves evidently knew just what goods to take to get the most valuable articles In the least possible bulk. The police department is doing everything in its power to apprehend Uie burglars. While the burglars left no the officer clues to their identity have several suspicious characters der surveillance and arrests may be made soon.
