Great Christmas Cheer Being pensed by Charitable CHRISTMAS A A A A A A A DAY EDITION. TODAY'S PAPER JOURNAL prints, with THE STATE Issue, a Christmas edition upon which work was necessarily hurried. It wna originally Intended to Issue this paper about a week later than the present date, but owing to the demands of a number of patrons for the special edition a few days before Christmas, It was decided to print the paper today. Unlike some editions, this paper was not printed outside of Ogden. Every line of type for this edition was set In the office of the State Journal, every fnch of matter was printed on State Journal presses. Aside from the setting of display advertising, the work upon this edition was done In Ogden In Just three days. No vigorous campaign for advertising was made. Practically every advertisement was given without active solicitation. To those who read this paper, the State Journal commends for their patronage the progressive ones who have taken the trouble to set forth their respective advantages within these pages.
