One fairly breathed the atmosphere of .the south In th last act, where a moat wonderful portrayal of the gar. dens and exterior of the typical Vimansion was rginia given. The slutdr of evening slowly fell, and as uusk came, gradually being replaced by most realistic moonlight, one forgot that it was a theater and fairly lived fur a few momenta all too brief In the fragrant south. One's heart fairly leaped and bounded with appreciation of the final love scene, amidst these wonderfully beautiful surroundings, and patriotic emotions were stirred tn every human breast.
