Show ' ' Vol. VH. EUREKA, JUAB COUNTY, UTAH, FEBRUARY 1, 1907. Leasing at Eagle. ... Jesse Knight Will Launch An- other Big Tintic Company. The Reporter learns from a reliable iourc that the Iron Blossom coin-- I any la to lie relneorporated early in i ho spring and aa soon aa thia change lia, lieen made the work of Kinking a ,V p shaft on the ground will be Parted. Jesse Knight who recently acquired the control of the AXi.Ooi) hares of stock In the old company -- will naturally have the controlling interests in the new incorporation. The property of the Iron Blossom stretches around the nrnpany mountain from the Colorado to the i Jovemor or nearly to the ground , wned by the Victor Cons. Company and conaistaof the Iron Blossom, Mild Winter, Miners Delight, Little Chief, Little Giant and Excelsior claims. Since Mr. Knight secured control of the companys stock ami gave out the information that reincorjioratinn v.ould be brought about so that development work might be started New Shaft for The Beck Tunnei. then has brn Home 'k-:t- liwl for the stork which w;o up sparring m that time pretty well -- esuered. More than me owner of the Iron Blossom stock began to dig down into the bottom of his trunk for the certificate upon which he had irevioulv plans lint little valuation. There has been considerable trading in this stock among local people and it is said that some of it has sold as high as w and ) cents jier share. We are unable to sav whether or not the stock did really bring such a fancy price but we do know that the price which Mr. Knight udd for the control was a long way hclow this figure. We are pleased to leant that another conqsiny will aoon begin ojicratioiia in this section of Tintic. A few more strikes in the neighborhood of the Beck Tunnel and Colorado will mean the ojiciiing of an ore sonc which for size and richness will equal anything in Tintic. The total of 14 carloads of ore were sent out this week from the Beck Tunnel and Supt John Itoundy says that he will have no difflculto in keeping the output up to about two carloads per day. The showing underground continues to improve, some important changes hsving taken place in the workings to the north. Mr. Rnundy says that when the new ahaft is sunk next spring it will be located about 1500 ft north of the present workings or nearer the central part of the companys territory. Jesse Knigt is reported as saying that there will be a railroad up to the Beck Tunnel by the time the new ahaft la ready for use which means that work will start early in the spring. It ia not known whether the spur which runs from Silver City to the Dragon Hollow will be extended to thia locality or whether another spur will be put in from the wfthcshrtet.)U;rf Telephone to Scranton.
