Jt J The baseball teams of the Salt Lake Press club and the Commercial club have made arrangements to play a game at Walkers field on Sunday afternoon, for the benefit of the school fund. This will be just about the warmest contest ever seen on the diamond, and every fan in the city will no doubt be present Intense Interest will be manifested when the public reads that Colonel Nelson, the editor of the Tribune, will catch behind the bat for the Press club, while C. W. Penrose of the News will do the twirling. Neither of these gentlemen have appeared in baseball suits for many years, and their donning of short pants and running shoes is an act in itself calculated to attract an immense concourse of people. Penrose is considered one of the best pitchers in the newspaper world, while the colonels reputation for catching everything in sight is so well established that no one dare dispute it.
