Flaming Gorge Banger District Christmas tree permits will be sold at the junction of Red Canyon and the pine, and pinyon pine. Duchesne Ranger District The District will issue individual Christmas tree permits for pinyon pine in the GQsonite, Antelope, and Nutter Ridge areas. Donald A. Smith, newly, appointed director, will conduct a aeries of community forums throughout the State. An invitation is extended to all interested persons to take this opportunity to meet the new director, hear his views on wildlife management and in turn submit comments for his response. In this ares, the forums will be held in Vernal Monday, Nov. 8, and Duchesne Tuesday, November 9, each will be held in the county courthouse starting at 7:80 Alpine fir, lodgepole pine, and trees are available this year. The recent shift of power came after several years of declining profits and the gloomy prospect of default on the original contract with Grant Hansen, local farmer and previous owner of the 8600 acres. The Utah limited voted to partnership install the new corporation as a last ditch effort'' to save the investment and develop a course of action that would yield some monetary returns. Leland Sycamore, President of the Corporation said, 1 can promise the limited partners very little in light of present conditions. This is a salvage operation at best; however, if the parties involved cooperate adequately, we should be able to orchestrate matters in such a way that nobody gets hurt". He further stated, "Grant Hansen has the most to gain if he will only be patient as he has been and avoid deceptive legal action u a method of recourse." Governor sets ' human resource development day Under the signature of Utah Governor Calvin Rampton, November 11, 1976 will be declared as Human Resource Development Day. On this day, the First Annual Governors Conference on Human Resource Development will be held at the Salt Lake Hilton Convention Center. Lewis, Jr., issued a reminder today that lands within Dinosaur National Monument are dosed to all hunting and suggests that persons hunting near the Monument acquaint themselves with the boundary lines. Park Rangers will making concentrated patrols during this time of the year. Any attempt to hunt, wound, frighten, or capture any wildlife within the Monument is a violation of federal regulations. Hunters in Colorado are reminded that the Harpers Corner road from U. S. Highway 40 to the Monument is also part of the Monument and is doaed to hunting.
