May 29 will be the Fat Show judging and selection of show reserve and grand champion. Wednesday the Show banquet, for all show and participating entries, will be at the Vernal junior high school at 7:30 p.m. If you are planning to attend, please inform your Extension offices to confirm reservations. May 30 will be the sale of fat animals for the show. Late entries must be approved by the show committee and all entries must be accompanied by an apor propriate record book - either FFA. Students from over 20,000 public, private and parochial high schools throughout the country are recognized for their leadership in academics, athletics, activities or community service in the book. of the junior and senior Less than 3 class students nationwide are awarded this recognition. Judy is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. rimer Moon, of Duchesne. Judy served as State President for Future Homemakers of America (F.H.A.) this past year and is also Duchesne County TAPS Chairman for the March of Dimes. Sher served as Sophomore Class President, was cheerleader for three years and was D.H.S. Homecoming Queen. Judy has also received special awards in Speech and Drama, taking Region 1st place honors in both Impromptu and Humerous Reading.
