During debate on a resolution condemning the current government in Chile but not the government of Uganda! Tyson intimated that the U.S. Government took in part overthrowing the Communist regime of Salvador Allende. In news dispatches Tyson was referred to as a specialist in Latin American affairs. He was hand-picke- d by President Carters U.N. Ambassador Andrew Young. There is more to Mr. Tyson than that, as according to people who have attended his lectures on Latin America, he is an avowed Marxist. Tyson sjlso has been, according to Congressman Bauman, a panelist at a seminar coordinated by the secretary of the New York State Communist Partys Peace Commission. A For more than decade Tyson has been closely associated with radicals and Communsts. Yet he was chosen by Andrew Young to represent the United States of America in the United Nations! That, however, is not nearly as surprising as President Carters choice of Andrew Young as U.N. Ambassador. As leftist as Tysons record, Youngs is worse - and his remarks since becoming U.N. Ambassador clearly reveal that he does not represent, or purport to represent, the United States. If one more straw is needed to break what little American confidence remains in the U.N., Young may be that straw. He has embarrassed Carter repeatedly, and he will continue to do so. When leftists and Marxists inimical to United States are chosen by our President to represent us, the people may begin to question what sort of a President he is. -- The News Lynchburg, Va. - - a ANY LAW IS BETTER THAN NO LAW? Bv There are those among us that abanproclaim with is don that any law better than no It seems to me that these law. people have given up the art of thinking. In most areas of our lives we have no laws at all to govern what we do or do not do. For example, I know of no law which limits the number of times I may kiss my wife. There is no law limiting the number of hours 1 may sleep. No law forces me to buy certain types of clothing. There is no law at present telling me whether or not 1 may have There is no law, at children. present, limiting the number of children a family may have. There is no law telling me when I am sup- posed to eat or when I shall bathe, self-righteo- us We could go on and on. Those who contend that any law is better than no law should get busy and write laws to cover those items listed above and all others that mav come to their fertile minds. The way things are going in our country, some seem unsane enough to try. One of the items listed above is already the subject of a proposed law. Congress is proposing to limit the number of children a family can produce to 2.7 for each family. The seven tenths part will be exchangeable. If one family wants only two children it may sell its seven-tenth- s to another family, Those who are proposing such a bill are not sane. Any law which violates the laws of God is immoral Larry Wilcox the government could do. This of course limited the number of laws they could write. We do not need more laws in our country today. We need to eliminate those laws which violate the Constitution and the laws of God and return to the original as well as unconstitutional. Our problem today is that we have far too many laws. Under our original constitution laws were designed to limit the activities of those who committed crimes against the laws of God. Most of the laws written today are designed to control the lives of the righteous citicns in this country for the gratification of their servants who make up the government. It simply is not true that any law is better than no law. It is true that any law which violates a law of God limits the freedom of those who wish to live in peace and liberty. The object of the United States Constitution wras to limit the number of things our servants in concepts of the Constitution. original maxim of the socialist revolution that more laws are necessary because society has become more complicated. Seven years ago through a series of unforseen events I found myself sitting in front of a microphone talking on radio KSXX in Salt Lake City, Utah. didnt have any radio experience but I had spent years in research on the political problems facing us in our country. Because of this began a study of the Constitution and its relation to our problems today. As my studies continued it became evident that practically all of our ecnonmic and social and political problems were created by our disregard for the principles of our Constitution. Over the past seven years have talked to tens of thousands of people over the radio, in meetings and individually. To my consternation found that most people were just as lacking in knowledge of the Constitution as was. In talking to lawyers I found that they were even worse off than I I I I the average citizen. From them learned that Constitutional law was not taught in the schools of law. Because of this fact learned that today the Constitution is disregarded in our courts and books on the law. Our Founding Fathers stated in the Constitution that it was the Supreme Law of the land.
