The meeting will be held in Salt Lake City on Saturday, September te today by county volunteer Savings Bond chairman Kenneth First Nyman, Manager, Security Bank of Utah at Nephi. Speakers were Hazel Todd, Lawrence Rees, Joel White, and Ed Westover, and a duet was given by Velma Phillips and Carol Ann Castleton, accompanied by Mrs. Nance. Illness claims resident of Eureka area Frank Neil Christensen, Tintic and a long time native resident, died in a Salt Lake hospital on Thursday, August 23, after a long illness. He was born Oct. 8, 1925 in Mammoth, a son of Peter and Christina Beveridge Christensen. He married Gertrude Clements, Sept. 6, 1961 in Provo. He was a member of the LDS Church; the American Legion Post 112, DAV Argonne Chapter 12, and a member of World War II. Survivors include his widow; brothers, sister, Michael B., Santaquin, Frederick, Ocean-sidCalifornia, and Mrs. Ethan (Thelma) Johnson, Santaquin. Funeral services were conducted on Monday in Salt Lake at 1:00 a.m., and Military grave rites were conducted at the Eureka City cemetery. e, School levy up; city stays same Tintic School District will have a boost in their tax bill for the coming school year.
