He was the father of four sons, including David and William Eccles of this city, and two daughters one a resident of Salt Lake and the other In Oregon. The death came at his home on the canyon road, where Mr. and Mrs. Eccles have lived for many years past DISTRICT COURT MATTERS. Samuel Fletcher began an action to day in the district court against George Reed on a promissory note for $280, given in payment on the sale of a pair of horses and a wagon. The complaint states that the defendant has paid $85 oil account of the same and refuses to pay the. balance and also refues to return the horses. It also alleges that the property has been damaged. They ordered Bello to throw up his hands und face towards the wall. This he did and one of them ransacked his pockets, taking his gold watch and $10.75 In cash. They also secured a key to u closet, pushed Bello Inside, told him to sit down and stuy there, locked the door and left the premises. He described the tracing of four men to the O. K. saloon und the visits that he and Captain Brown paid to the saloon, where they heard money clinking In one of the wine rooms. Wells was behind the bar and they asked him if any men had come in through the rear door and he replied In the negative. Judge Holdom today decided a union press feeded guilty of violating an injunction Issued by the court during the recent strike not as an Indlvdual hut as an organization. The Judge will tomorrow fix the amount of the fine which is to be Imposed on the president and secretary of local .Franklin union. The minimum amount of the fine which can be Imposed is $1 and the maximum $5,000.
