The numbers remain much the same in a statewide sampling. The poll, of 815 Utahns was conducted by Dan Jones and Associates in April for the Utah League of Cities and Towns, to gauge Utahns opinions on issues such as growth, government and taxes. In the second in a series of articles, the poll looks at how residents believe the problem of growth should be handled and the importance of services provided by municipalities. Thirty-fiv- e percent of residents statewide agree state government is best able to plan for growth, but nearly another quarter believe their municipal governments are best prepared to provide growth planpercent of those ning.
