In the recent past many TMJ patients were treated surgically. We recommend very conservative treatment with surgery only as a last resort. funcMany patients are pain free and tioning properly within a short bme after treatment begins. Others respond more slowly because of advanced joint destruction. Over 95 of our patients return to normal life routines with a tremendous improvement in the quality of life and health. TMJ Dysfunction follows a chronic leads pain syndrome pattern and often to depression, very little energy, and a conbnual struggle to cope with every day tasks that once were easy to accomplish. Over 90 of all headaches which are associated with increased tension and stress are TMJ related. This includes the small irritating" head pains and also most of the typical migraine" and cluster" headaches. Come in for a TMJ consultation and youll be surprised at what we can do to help you feel better. 415 Medical Drive B-- 1 Bountiful 298-181- 546-366- 8 t 2 ' 00 |
