Wilson, who has been at the Price office for the past seven years, will be the director of the Iowa Conservation Commission effective Jan. 1,1981. Wilson said his new job is a move up the ladder and will entail more than his Utah responsibility position. The fish and wildlife department, division of forestry and division of parks, land and water will all be under his jurisdiction, Wilson said. Im not really anxious to leave the west, but I want to go where the opportunity is, and the Iowa position came up, Wilson said. Wilson began his career with Utahs Divison of Wildlife Resources 17 years ago as fisheries manager for the northeast region. Right out of Utah State University, Wilson took charge of stream and lake surveys in the region as well as fish population counts. said he has seen many changes in ecology and conservation in the past 17 years. In the late 60s, early 70s people became more aware of environmental protection, air pollution, water pollution and Wilson population density, he said. Along with this change in perspective, came a change in Emery appoints attorney Jill Olsen Taylor has recently been hired as a deputy county attorney for Emery County. Ms. Taylor is a 1980 graduate of the Young Brigham Law University School. She will be ap working three proximately days a week. County Attorney Scott Johansen said the hiring was caused by the increase of court actions. Ms. Taylor is married to Dr. Bruce Taylor.
